Call for Papers: Third International Corporate Governance Conference

Theme:Beyond Compliance: Reimagining Corporate Governance in the Age of AI

The Corporate Governance Center at the College of Business invited academicians, lawyers, policymakers, and business leaders from both Saudi Arabia and abroad to submit abstracts for the Third International Corporate Governance Conference in December 2024. The conference aimed at fostering a dialogue on reimagining corporate governance in the age of AI, exploring how to leverage AI for positive impact while mitigating potential risks and ensuring ethical decision-making.

Conference Objectives:

  • To foster a global exchange on redefining corporate governance amidst rapid AI advancements.
  • To share the latest research and practical insights into the intersection of AI and corporate governance.
  • To provide a platform for networking among academics, professionals, and policymakers to foster collaboration.

Pre-Conference Workshops:

  • Corporate Governance Workshop (December 10, 2024): "Moving from Compliance to Good Governance Culture." This workshop will focus on practical steps organizations can take to embed a culture of good governance that transcends compliance.
  • Hospital Governance Workshop (December 11, 2024): A specialized session addressing the unique challenges and opportunities in hospital governance frameworks.
