3rd International Corporate Governance Conference

In December 2024, we held our 3rd annual corporate governance conference, an academic and professional event that addressed the evolving challenges and opportunities presented by technological advancements, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI), within the realm of corporate governance. Organized by the Corporate Governance Center (CGC) at the College of Business, Alfaisal University, the conference explored how companies navigated the ethical, operational, and legal complexities introduced by AI.

As AI reshaped business operations, corporate leaders had to adapt their governance practices to ensure they were not only innovative but also responsible and transparent. The conference brought together renowned academics, business leaders, and industry experts to share cutting-edge research and practical strategies for leveraging AI to create value while addressing risks, fostering ethical decision-making, and enhancing transparency.

In addition to the main conference, two exclusive workshops for top executives and board members focused on the application of these insights at the highest levels of corporate leadership. These workshops provided a platform for senior decision-makers to gain in-depth knowledge of AI’s impact on governance, ensuring they were well-equipped to lead their organizations through this transformative era.
